The Govan's Visit...

A visit to the Patton Museum at Ft Knox...

We had some very dear friends visit with us over the memorial day weekend. Our journey in the Army has brought many people and places into our lives but one of the greatest gifts it has given us is our friendship with the Govan's. We met them way back in 1999 at Ft Jackson and have managed to keep up with each other all these years. We truly consider them family! We are always blessed when we get together. Are kids came up with a plan that cracked us up. Avery, the Govan's almost 10yr old came up with a plan to make us a family. The kids would begin drinking after each other and then their germs would join and they would then have the same the germs and then they would be related, a family, that it what they want to be a family. It was too cute, and quite an interesting concept and process. The kids really played so nice together and were so sad to see them go. My kids said for many days I wish the Govan's could stay with us, I just said, I know, me too, they are special friends! So, here are some pictures of our weekend!

Thank you John, Shelly and the girls for blessing us with your visit!!! We love ya'll!
