Deployment Day 159: It is getting old

Waking up, going to bed, eating dinner, going to the park, going to church, watching movies, cooking, cleaning, playing with our children, just EVERYTHING is getting old without my Michael. Today was a rough day because I had to fight for my daughter. I know I was not fighting alone. I know Michael was praying and I KNOW God was with me. However, I am exhausted from the emotional outpouring today required.

Here is a pic of my sweet girl! I trust God with my girl and know that He holds in her in the palm of His hand.  Below her picture is a song that speaks to my heart by Kari Jobe about how God can steady your heart if you will let Him.

~ Angela

Lyrics to Steady My Heart :
Wish it could be easy
Why is life so messy
Why is pain a part of us?

There are days I feel like
Nothing ever goes right
Sometimes it just hurts so much

But You're here, You're real
I know I can trust You

Even when it hurts
Even when it's hard
Even when it all just falls apart

I will run to You
'Cause I know that You are
Lover of my soul,
Healer of my scars

You steady my heart,
You steady my heart

I'm not gonna worry
I know that You've got me
Right inside the palm of Your hand

Each and every moment
What's good and what gets broken
Happens just the way You plan

But You're here, You're real
I know I can trust You

Even when it hurts
Even when it's hard
Even when it all just falls apart

I will run to You
'Cause I know that You are
Lover of my soul,
Healer of my scars

You steady my heart,
You steady my heart

And I will run to You
I'll find refuge in Your arms
And I will sing to You
'Cause of everything You are

You steady my heart,
You steady my heart

Even when it hurts
Even when it's hard
Even when it all just falls apart

I will run to You
'Cause I know that You are
Lover of my soul,
Healer of my scars

You steady my heart,
You steady my heart

I'm not gonna worry
I know that You've got me
Right inside the palm of Your hand.
