The military lifestyle has people entering in and out of your life. Today I had the pleasure of crossing paths again with a spouse from Michael's former unit. It was great to have her in my home, share a meal with her and her husband, and catch up. She was with me during the last deployment. It was kind of nice to see her this deployment. This deployment is strange because I don't know many spouses who's husbands are deployed. Since Michael did not deploy with a unit it is just not the same. Seeing my friend today reminded me of the connection we will forever have as military spouses.
It was a blessing to see how those relationships continue.
